Rilsan® Polyamide 11 (Nylon 11)
The unique 11-carbon atom polymer structure creates a special crystalline structure with a very high density of hydrogen bonds. This contributes to a higher melting point, reduced fuel and gas permeability, and improved impact properties compared to traditional polyamide 12. Polyamide 11 is typically more flexible, exhibits better dimensional stability, and has superior impact resistance than conventional short-chain polyamides. Produced from castor oil, Rilsan® PA11 is a high-performance polymer that is 100% derived from renewable resources. Rilsan® PA11’s exceptional properties are highly valued across various manufacturing industries.
Pebax® Elastic Polyamide Resin
Pebax® Rnew® block copolymers are composed of polyamide (hard) and polyether (soft) blocks. Adjusting these blocks and their relative ratios allows for a wide range of products, extending from very rigid to highly soft and flexible without the need for plasticizers. This unique polymer maintains a highly desirable combination of traditional polyamide toughness with the flexibility and elasticity of polyether/polyester.
Pebax® Rnew® elastomers are partially bio-based, utilizing the same raw material source as Polyamide 11 (PA11) Rilsan® in combination with polyether/polyester.
Pebax® elastomers combine Polyamide 12 and polyether / polyester blocks.

Rilsan® Fine Powder ES/ESY
Product line using electrostatic spraying method (Tribo or Corona)
Electrostatic Powder Coating involves applying charged powder particles onto a metal surface at ambient temperature. The electrostatic charge is generated by passing the powder through a specialized spray device, such as a “corona” or “tribo” spray gun. The charged powder particles are attracted to the grounded surface to create a coating. The coated part is then placed in an oven, where Rilsan® powder melts to form a smooth, non-porous coating layer. Two Rilsan® product lines suitable for this application process are Rilsan® ES and Rilsan® ESY.

Rilsan® Fine Powder T/FB
Product line using embedded method
Fluidized Bed Dipping Process involves immersing a preheated part into a fluidized bed of coating powder suspended by an upward airflow. When Rilsan® PA11 powder comes into contact with the preheated part, it melts and forms a film on the component’s surface. This process yields a uniform thickness, even on complex-shaped parts (covering both interior and exterior surfaces in a single operation). The fluidized bed dipping process is efficient (100% usage efficiency) and simple. All Rilsan® T/FB grades have been specifically developed for this technology, alongside a range of custom-designed primers.
Rilsan® Fine Powder MC/Techline

Arkema has developed the Minicoat Process for coating small objects. Based on this process, the Rilsan® MC and Rilsan® Techline product lines are specifically designed for coating small items, such as components in the lingerie industry. The MC line has an average particle size of around 50 microns, allowing for high yield and precise coating thickness control.
Cationic and fatty amine surfactants
The product portfolio includes a wide range of primary, secondary, and tertiary amines from C8 to C22, as well as fatty amine derivatives, primarily sourced from natural raw materials.
The protonation, alkylation, and ethoxylation processes further expand the product range to meet the needs of cationic surfactant users, including chemical intermediates, essential additives in treatment processes, and functional ingredients in various formulations and applications. Cationic surfactants offer emulsifying, foaming, wetting, and thickening properties. Their surface-modifying capabilities provide benefits such as softening, corrosion inhibition, adhesion enhancement, antistatic properties, lubrication, and water repellency.
The complex formation between cationic surfactants and poorly water-soluble anionic species results in coagulation, ion exchange, and decolorization, widely utilized in fields such as water treatment, sugar refining, and organoclay production.

Anionic surfactants
Used alone or as part of an optimized system, non-ionic surfactants act as the “secret ingredient” to achieve exceptional performance in formulations.
Non-ionic surfactants can be a powerful and versatile addition to the formulator’s toolkit. With a variety of chemical building blocks, the balance can be adjusted to create a product with higher hydrophilic or hydrophobic properties, thereby modifying the surfactant’s functional characteristics to deliver significant performance benefits across diverse applications.
Since they are uncharged, non-ionic surfactants are compatible with both cationic and anionic surfactants, as well as other key ingredients commonly used in formulations. This makes them ideal for developing mixed systems where each component contributes to optimal results. Functions that can be enhanced by using the right non-ionic surfactant include detergency, wetting, emulsification, foam stabilization or defoaming, thickening, and solubilization.
Key Products: Agrilan®, Alcosperse®, Armolube™, Armac®, Atrac®
Non-ionic surfactants
The product line is highly reliable in providing stable performance of anionic surfactants across all environments, from the harshest to the mildest conditions.
Anionic surfactants are a fundamental component in formulation. Familiar benefits, such as wetting, foaming, surface tension reduction, detergency, dispersing, and excellent rinseability, make anionic surfactants a cost-effective choice to boost formulation performance across various applications and end markets.
Exceptional stability in acidic and alkaline environments, hard water tolerance, and high-temperature stability allow anionic surfactants to deliver outstanding results in harsh environments where other classes of surfactants struggle to perform.
